Rental – Amplifiers »
The sound system consist of input sources such as microphones for the vocals, musical instruments or audio players such as turntables or CD players. In both cases these input sources are fed into the mixing consoles amplifying the original signal to such a degree allowing us to control the crossover or power amplifier. The mixing console modifies the bass, balance, treble, and effects of the sound. The next level of this complex sound system is the crossover. The sound had 10 octaves (in comparison to light with just one). The difference between lower and higher frequencies is so vast that the sound has to be divided into 3 or 4 frequency bands to facilitate the very different physical parameters between high and low frequencies. These signal are then fed into the amplifiers which amplify the loudspeakers which are focused on specific frequency bands. Properly mixed loudspeakers sound as one whole.
